Rotary Holiday Party
My wife and I attended the Coshocton Rotary holiday party last night. Held locally, there was great food and atmosphere. My lovely bride, who helped to plan the event, was designated to give the invocation before the meal and froze up a bit. So after she asked the good Lord to "nourish our food" she quickly said "Amen" and giggled all the way back to her seat. The good news is that she found her supportive husband choking back laughter and tears.
I did want to mention that Brad Fuller came to entertain the group with song and jokes and was simply terrific. If you need someone to entertain at a gathering like that, Brad comes with my full endorsement. He and his group also regularly do murder mysteries. Here is his blog that highlights those adventures. http://sleuthmystery.blogspot.com/

Love your wife's prayer! The food needs to be nourished before it can do us any good!!! It is my notion that ANY thought toward God brings us in contact! The tear in your eye tells a lot about your heart, Kirby! Keep it tender.
