Proud of the Wife!
As many of you know from reading this blog, my wife was recently named the Executive Director of the Coshocton County United Way. Now of course I recognize my own bias here, but I really think she is doing an outstanding job.
As she points out, she will receive feedback by the donations in the campaign, and know how she did based on those numbers...BUT...I think she is doing great.
Here she is with next year's sponsor Jeff Drennen of the Jeff Drennen Dealerships of Zanesville and Coshocton (if you are thinking of buying a new car, it's time to talk to Jeff!). She sent me an email with her latest PSA that will be playing on the radio. The PSA is to recognize Volunteer Week in April. Here it is...I thought it was terrific!
Winston Churchill once said, "we make a living by what we do, but we make a life by what we give." At the United Way of Coshocton County, we believe that it is important to recognize our responsibility to help our fellow citizens and to make our community a better place to live. Hello.. this is Amy Hasseman, Executive Director of the Coshocton United Way. April 15th through the 21st is National Volunteer Week. and I would like to personally thank each of you that have taken the time to volunteer in our community. Community...it's what matters.

It's just great tosee the two of you being such a positive force in that community. You are definitely leaving a legacy for both your girls and that area of the planet.
